As a painting apprentice, you are compensated and monitored by a properly trained painter, but you must also attend lessons. In addition, you may meet with clients during your day, collaborate with other craftsmen, prepare places for painting, and paint.

After work, you may have lessons to learn more about your career one or two times per week. For example, an apprentice painter knows about various procedures and techniques, such as the distinctions between outdoor and interior painting work.
